is anyone else expiriencing slow load speeds? my im "sound of a shot being fired" thingie keeps going off, but the im page is screwed up and shows no messages. weird. |
Obe: You just "got" your optical mouse???? WTF? You Austrians really are behind times  I got my first optical mouse, a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer back when they first came out in the fall of 1999. I hooked it up to my Power Mac G3. It kept working until last fall, so I guess 3 years out of a crappy Malaysian mouse worked out fine. I never figured out what exactly broke. It just wouldn't start as soon as I plugged it in to my MS Natural pimp ass keyboard, which has 2 USB ports on it. I think the USB connector gave out. The optical portion never gave me any trouble, unless I used it on a really funky surface. Anyway, I replaced it with a cheaper three button optical mouse from Microsoft. It works great. The only problem with any optical mouse is really fast movements. It'll go whacko if you suddenly jerk the mouse around. |
