| Hey guys, I've been thinking of getting an AK but I'm not sure which one. What are the best ones to get as far as make? I know everyone will have a different opinion on this but I'd like to hear pro's and cons. Thanks |

Any properly assembled AK will be reliable, given minimal maintenance and used with an undamaged surplus magazine.
No nation's AK of the same caliber will on average be more accurate than any other nation's AK. Spending more money might get you a better appearance, but not necessarily a more durable finish. You'd be much better off by deciding on which features you want and buying the rifle with those features than by seeking an abstract and highly subjective concept of "quality". This is especially true when the object you're contemplating purchasing is an infantry rifle which was designed to arm an army of millions as inexpensively as possible. |
