I am looking at getting a quad rail for the RRA carbine I have on order. I am looking at the KAC RAS, Sureifire M73 and a Yankee hill model 9670. Any insight would be great. I really want it to be sturdy when mounted.

+1 on KAC RAS

Free float rail systems, such as the Larue or Daniel Defense, require completely disassembling the barrel to install and remove, something I'm not too keen on. That said, they're a much better choice if you're going to use forward-mounted optics.

The Troy MRF doesn't require barrel disassembely  and has a contineous top rail.

Not that I'm complaining... I'll link them together because I think the more information on this subject the better.

Does anyone have some good pictures of the Troy system? I like the continuous top rail but it kind of looks like the top and bottom are "built-in" while the side rails are bolted/screwed in. Can someone confirm this for me. It looks like a decent setup for the continuous rail, but I'm not crazy about a RAS where the rails are separate pieces.
