I've got one (smooth style) but even with a commercial buffer tube there's still a lot of slop. Same with the one I got for my buddies 629 build.

They are mil-spec not commercial. And they are great stocks, especially on a retro build.

Call them milspec all you want ..... but for the one I have there's a ton of slop with a milspec tube, less with a commercial tube, but still a fair amount of slop.

Theirs are commercial, but if I remember right they had a refurbished one on an original Colt tube at one time also...Sept-Oct of last year.

Yea the one I had was a Colt. I know they had trouble keeping them in stock.

think they stoped making them The rumor was the they were getting their casting from Bushmaster and that Bushmaster stopped casting them...I think that there is a market out there. Maybe NDS should look into it along with 2pos buffer tubes.
