Retro Forum Code of Conduct
Please read and become familiar with the Retro Forum Code of Conduct. In addition to the AR15.com Site Code of Conduct, the following rules apply to those posting in the Retro Forum:
Regarding all retro forum members:
1) Posting “price requesting” or "look what I found" threads where items are being exchanged or sold are not allowed.
2) Linking to personal items being sold in the Equipment Exchange or linking to personal auctions (Gunbroker, Guns America ect.) is not allowed.
3) The mentioning in posts of personal items for sale in the Equipment Exchange is simply a round-about way of advertising in the tech forums and is not allowed.
4) The Retro Forum was started for those members interested in discussions covering the early models of the AR15 / M16 and its related equipment. While we do not have a set rule regarding what is considered “retro”, posts involving other firearms or equipment may be moved to a more suitable discussion forum at the discretion of the Moderators or Site Staff.
Regarding business owners or those individuals manufacturing parts for profit:
1) Before you begin advertising your products, consider a Dealer or Industry Partner Membership upgrade. Advertising info can be had at the bottom of each page.
2) Those businesses or individuals advertising who are not Industry Partners or Site Dealers will have their posts deleted.
ABUSE OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT REGARDING ADVERTISING WILL RESULT IN THREADS BEING LOCKED, DELETED AND/OR YOUR ACCOUNT BEING LOCKED. THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE FOR VIOLATIONS.
Situations which have not been covered in the Retro Forum Rules and Guidelines may arise and will be handled by Moderators and Site Staff who will address such issues on a case by case basis. The Moderators and Site Staff reserve the right to make changes to this code of conduct as necessary.

Here is a tip on buying and selling Retro Items in the Equipment Exchange:
Sellers: When listing your item, include the word “Retro” in the item header and description. This will help buyers searching the E n’ E for Retro Items to better locate your item.
Buyers: When searching the Equipment Exchange for Retro Items utilizing the site search feature, type in the word “retro” in the “Key Word” search box. This will enable you to view only those items being advertised as “retro”.
