| Does any one know if lancer is going to have a translucent foliage green magazine?I have found the flat dark earth translucent magazine for sale but have not seen any thing about any other colors. |

I'd heard that Lancer discontinued FDE translucent a while ago and only produce clear and smoke translucent these days. Cheers |

FYI, I saw this post and ordered a coiuple of the FDE Lancer tran. mags. They are backordered 4-6 weeks. We'll see. Last time Larue backordered my order, it took over 3 months to get it. Did they charge you now or when they ship? I have not been charged yet so I guess it will happen when they ship. Neither of the two emails from Larue specify when I will be charged. Also, it says backordered 3-4 weeks. My mistake. |

They made a few translucent earth-tone mags when they first came out with the AWMs. They were $40, but I had to have two of them. Its good to see they are making something similar to them again. I never did hear why they discontinued the first version. My guesses are; they cost too much to make and they were too opaque. On the right is a standard L5.
'Translucent FDE is the tits' it sure is. Looks like they got the translucence right this time, and I like the new color. |

It may have various colors and shades of finish, but it would be much more effectively camouflaged than a monochrome finish. Yeppers. And I have to believe that a tan/brown rifle will blend in a bit better than a flat black one as well. Very little in the outdoors is pure black. Back on topic, I had an excuse to order something else from LaRue (MBT too hard to pass up). As long as I was ordering....yes, a couple more translucent FDE mags. Between these and the FDE 20 rounders I already have I could almost switch to these for competition, although I still need something in the 40+ round range, and it would be very nice if someone made a base pad like the Taran Tacticals for Lancers. Then they would be a functional duplicate of PMAGs for my uses. |

Back when they first started to make them they made translucent:
Smoke/Grey FDE Black They dropped FDE and black and added clear. Now they have FDE again. The translucent black are now the "rarer than hens teeth" version, but they look really cool in an 1-shade-of-black rifle. |

I have some translucent brown and it's quite a bit darker than their new FDE offering. |
