the business end of that shotgun looks almost as big as a coffee can from that angle!!!  LOL

Obvously the rare 8 gauge Model 12, only made by Winchester for John Olin and a select few of his very closest friends.

You,re a lucky man Riggs. My significant other will have NOTHING to do with my weapons. She cant even stand to go upstairs in my mancave because of the smell of cosmoline (which i find sooo uncommonly relaxing)Of course, if she would take a pic or two, they may look very similar to yours, LOL This is just one of the walls, I gots 3 more.

I went shooting Sunday, it'd been awhile. Took Anna's sister Rachel, my best friend's wife Liz, and my good friend Jen. I'll get more pics uploaded later, I'm posting from my cell phone and I don't have good service here.

Please keep comments related to this thread, I'm doing okay, I still need prayers.

TR, I'm glad that you are still here and still posting.  You and Anna's family are still on my prayer list.  Hang in there and you WILL be better.

OK, here she is for her second debut from OK. City.
Here she is with the Model 12 trench gun build.

And since everyone had so much fun with this angle on the last photo here is a repeat.

And here she is with the 602 dressed out in it's new mottled furniture and scope.

And the 601 with scope and bayo.

And here she is with a couple of builds that are in the works.
Airforce carbine, still looking at what exact model it will be.

And what will be a 607!

You should take another one of these with the bayonet mounted.  You may want to stand a little further back when you take the picture.

Does your Mother not shoot?  No pics......

Jerry Jeff Walker said it best:

Texas in October, is about as pretty as it gets
But Texas in the springtime, is even prettier yet
You miss it so much when you're gone
It's hard for you to say
Texas gets more beautiful, with every passing day

Close enough, it's a 64.5, no way to tell anymore which it was. It's a 24 hours of Lemons car now. If you haven't heard of the series it's an endurance road race for $500 cars.

Here is some coverage of our first race with this car.  http://blog.caranddriver.com/24-hours-of-lemons-sears-pointless-the-winners/

Blondie with the 651.

Blondie and the 653

Blondie and the Armi Jager

Blondie and her 605.

Blondie even stepped up and fired a few that were higher calibers than she normally shoots.
Also said that she probably WON'T be doing these again anytime soon

That sign actually refers to the steel animal targets that the silhouette shooters have out sometimes.  There is a plate at 100 meters and 2 plates at 200 meters that you can shoot high power at no prob.

I bought it from a good friend's uncle who did serve. Claims to have brought it back. Serial puts it at 1965 date, no import mark. Since he didn't have capture papers with it, I don't claim it as a bringback... but if I had to guess, I'd say it probably is a genuine bringback. It's definitely one of those weapons that has tons of character and vibe, if that makes any sense at all.

kroed11581, nice collection of rifles and good to see another lady on the firing line!
jack57000, also nice rifle! Is that a real or fake can on that build? Love the pic of her sitting there.

Hi Guys,

No offense meant, but, I'm 64 years old and have a 55 year old Wife. How about some nice pics of "mature", middle age "Girls With Retro Guns" ?

Maybe we could start a new thread like "Grandmas with Retro Guns" or "Mom's With Retro Guns". I'm going to see if I can talk my Wife into a photo shoot.

It has "the look" of a rifle that spent a lot of time outdoors in a certain environment, is all I'm saying.  From the pic, I'd say it's most likely real.

GF looks real too, by the way.  Kudos.

Hal, there is no age limit on this thread!  If she's good enough a sport to pose with your retro equipment (don't ready anything into that––I mean firearms!), get those pics posted right here!

OG,

I'm going to see if I can talk her in to something really "special". I've got to work on M1 Sniper and see if I can get some help from him with his Wife "T"..

I loved your pun....everything about me is retro at my age. I don't even wear quartz watches. I still have a 1968 Seiko I bought when I was in Vietnam. Three cheers for Olde School!
