What sort of stock is that? Thanks...it's half of the Magpul UBR. The buffer tube / cheek weld piece is on there now, and the stock is kept about 5 miles from the rifle pistol to make a valid attempt at being legal. |

I actually do have a letter out to the ATF asking to "clarify" whether the UBR's buffer tube can be used alone on an AR pistol, and also (if so) how far the stock should be stored from the gun to avoid the possibility of an accusation of being in possession of the items needed to make an SBR. It's only been a couple weeks, so it may be a few more before I get a response. There are a few other very similar parts that have received the green light from them on this subject, so I figured I'd give it a shot for myself and future builders of pistols. |
