I'm surprised no one asked you about the pmag. Is that a 40 round mag Stick? I may be mistaken but it looks a lot longer than your average pmag. Details please... |

I like your style!
I never knew my rifle had a twin separated at birth, lol..... I like. I tried the TLR at 12 o'clock like yours, but didn't like the shadow in my ACOG. How is it with your dot? |

Not bad if I only focus on the dot and the target. So when running drills it's not so much an issue. Benching it to sight it in and know it's there. |

I couldn't justify cost to re-park the barrel and only hit the raw steel area with some cold-blue. When used with a crush washer and regular A2 comp, this permanently pinned combination achieved 16.1" OAL. http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj634/pro2ndam/Projects/Colt%20M4%20clone/DSCN1542_zps9b2c90cd.jpg http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj634/pro2ndam/Projects/Colt%20M4%20clone/DSCN1543_zps9fb5d8f9.jpg http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj634/pro2ndam/Projects/Colt%20M4%20clone/DSCN1545_zpsca84bf67.jpg http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj634/pro2ndam/Projects/Colt%20M4%20clone/DSCN1546_zpsb2a80955.jpg The pin must be close to the end of the threads ?

There was less than 3/8" of threads left after spacer and crush washer installed, but it was enough to properly pin the A2 comp in place. |

What rail/barrel combo is that? I know 14.5 barrel.. But is that a 14" rail? Most I've seen run a little long. |

His is very likely the same as mine. Just a hand fitment Specs: Centurion Arms CMR 14" 5.56 MANUF SPECS BCM BFH 14.5 Midlength barrel BCM .750 lo pro gas block. Caliper measurement gives the bottom thickness at 0.186in. Again this was just a hand fitment but it is encouraging: gap of 0.009 - 0.010 (my thinnest feeler gauge is 0.010). I'm still going to have Adco shave it as much as possible. |

A 14" CMR with 14.5" barrel is one of the 3 builds I'm pondering doing next. It was the front runner for awhile, but I've already got a spare 13.5" NSR laying around, and I'm not sure I'll like the CMR more. |

I once fired a quad rail and didn't like that. SOOOO I'm hoping this will work out just fine. The hand assembled setup was very nice. I'm sending it to Adco this week for pinning etc. I had originally spec'd either the NSR or the Centurion C4 in their max lengths and fortunately this came out in time to buy instead. I was going for that clean look and max iron sight radius. |

I know the CMR has more girth to it than the NSR as it's pretty much impossible not to. The NSR is so damn skinny - you can really manhandle that thing. I'm likely gonna move forward on a 14.5" DD barrel with 14" CMR handguard upper next anyway. I've decided to use the 13.5" NSR I have laying around for an all Noveske build that will take me awhile to track down all the parts for. |
