What's the legal way to measure barrel length? I just used a tape measure on the outside and it appeared to be 15.9" to me...

Mark the rod where the barrel ends or the muzzle device ends if it's pinned. Pull out rod and measure that. Give yourself an extra .1-.25" in case the ATF brings their short measuring tape. |
