What is the quietest comp that will bring the rifle to 16" overall? I was thinking Dynacomp but that thing is still concussive!

I never tried the dynacomp but the rifle i built for my lady to use is a 14.5 mid length with a battle comp 1.5 on it. It was not much louder than a standard a2 and didnt notice any concussive wave while standing off to the side. |

The muzzle device being removed will most likely be destroyed. It is possible in some cases to drill out the pin and unscrew the device without destroying it but it would take a lot of time and effort and may not work any way. I have read in the forums that people can remove devices that have been silver soldered on with out damaging them but i have not really looked in to that method. hope that helps ya out -96 |

If you couldn't tell, before I started SBRing a bunch of receivers, I was really into the 14.5" - pinned barrels. Still have a bunch of them, though as I SBR more lowers, they're going away for unpinned uppers. Yes- I have 14.5" SBRs. ~Augee I would love to be able to SBR a 14.5" barrel. And the Gov't would love it too. $200 for an inch and a half, a small hole, pin and tac weld. |

Agreed. I love my Samson EVO but the market is lacking lightweight tube floaters with just top and bottom rails.
