If you're mounting it to a #38 then you don't really have too many options. The only mount for a compact is the TA60 ( I think that's it) and that would sit way too high on a 38. If you check out this thread: http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=158932 there is a pic of a TA-50 on a 19S. That should give you an idea. The 19S on the 38 may not be so bad. I've seen pics of the full size ACOGs mounted on a SIR with the 19S and it works for some people. The compact will sit slightly lower. Steve. |
