Quick question...

The red 1.5x ACOG scope...

Like the one here:

(I wouldn't necessarily order from there).

Do they come with a mount, or is that something extra?

I would be interested in mounting it on a PS90 if I ever bought one... So, a standard rail. I did see some Larue mounts in pictures - but I don't need room for a folding sight underneath... Just wondering if it comes with a mount for a rail or is that something that must be bought seperately

I saw there was two versions -

This one with no apparent mount, I assume:

And then this one:

WHich I really have no idea what this mounts to with the included mount....

The 1.5X's are actually meant to go on top of a carry handle.  They come with the screw and washer for doing this, but that's it.  The couple I got did anyway.

What I would recommend is this mount with this sight.

This version does not include a mount.

Ok, thanks for the link - that's great.

Is there any decent mount that's any cheaper?

Something extra.

The ACOG's that are listed as a special ring mount do not come with a mount
since there are about a dozen different mounts for use on a lot of different guns.

I have the 1.5x24 with the special ring mount and use the MM07(.9in) mount on top of a 1/2inch mini riser
for a total of 1.4 inches.

You want the one with the integral AR/M16 carry handle mount.  This way you can use any aftermarket picatinney mount you like.

If I get one, I'd want to mount it on a rail on a PS90. I like it as being a non powered option, but I'm looking for the cheapest mount I can get.

Anyone have a link?

I think the cheapest mount you'll find is a Trijicon TA51 on the EE. Do a search, they pop up very often. I've sold two TA51's for about $30 after upgrading mounts.
