After picking up my first AR and coming here I have been itching to build one myself. I picked up a Barnes Precision Machine stripped lower at my local dealer and found a smoking deal on a lower build kit from Palmetto State Armory which should be here next week.

| I have no clue, researching that as I type this. Any recommendations are appreciated. I am kinda leaning towards the 6.8 SPC but may just stick with something in .223. My crrent AR is a carbine so I know I want something with a longer barrel but I really don't know yet. |

Got it all put together today only made one mistake with the springs.I had the rear takedown pin detent spring in the selector detent hole .Now time to decide on the upper.
