I just finished "tweaking" my 1st AR
RRA 20" A4 w/ Dominator
EOTech 512 (on the way)
CAA tactical stock
MI rifle length handguard
Tango Down VG
3 Tango down rail covers
Pentagon X2 w/ VLTOR Mount

Now I'm onto another one
Tom Sawyer Chaos Lower w/ complete kit
AMEETEC upper - TBD most likely 14.5" (They are great guys to work with so I know they'll help me out on deciding)
Stock - TBD, gotta be Tan
Tactical Rail - VLTOR

I'm debating about putting the EOTECH on the new build and adding a traditional scope to the RRA. Any thoughts on swapping the EOTECH to the new addition and or scope suggestions?

primary purpose of the RRA rifle (range?)?

you can check out ACOG, Leupold and other lines for a mid-range scope

Oops, purpose would've helped (Good catch). Range primarily and backup SHTF AR for the RRA. The new build is primary SHTF/HD weapon.

I would put a mid range scope (acog, CQT, Ect) on the 20", and throw the eotech on your carbine. IMO that'd be your best/ most useful setup.

Also don't forget that if you buy the 14.5" upper, you either have to Permanently (weld) a FH to bring the barrel length up to 16" or you have to register your lower as a SBR lower and pay the $200 tax stamp.

Thanks for the replies...Now I have to decide on the ACOG, my wallet is getting lighter and lighter.....
