| I am new to the AR But thanks to you guys I have just completed my AR build. Havent had a chance to fire it yet. Anyway I purchased a 22LR conversion kit for it and was considdering building another upper for my AR in 22LR. Can I just use the conversion bolt in the new upper with a 22 twist barrel or would I need a different 22 bolt for it. Thanks |

Thanks You would only need to get a chamber adapter that matches/fits your barrel bore.. The conversion kit comes with the chamber adapter that is the size of a 5.56 cartridge - and that wont fit in a regular .22 barrel.. hope this helps b |

Any particular reason you want a 1/12 twist? A 1/16 twist would be much easier to find - 1022 barrels are pretty cheap i heard when ppl start upgrading their 1022's.. Brian |
