Anyone have load data.  Really looking for variety load data

if it's a BHW barrel I'd hit Greg or Ritch up, I'll assume Greg will be checking in soon

I'm mostly looking at trying to run the 77 grain Sierra tmk.  That has been the only bullet that has shown any sign of grouping well and it was with cfe223.  I'd like to try some RL15 or varget for the 77 grain if I can find one.  I've seen Greg posting's on bhw''s forum but those loads did not shoot well in mine.  It is not a bhw barrel.

Did you try the 75 AMAX?

[#4]
Yes I did try the 75 amax.  That is the bullet I intended this build for but it won't group better than 1.5moa.  The only combination I've got to shoot 1 moa or better is cfe223/77 Sierra tmk is running .75moa.  I've always had good accuracy from varget and RL15 thought I'd try them with the 77tmk.

Ogive on the 75gr AMAX is so long, you really need to be short-throated for it to get accuracy from the AR15 mag well COL limitations.

That would then force you to load all your other bullets too deep into the case.

I recently traded for a 22-68 barrel.  I was thinking about heavier game king or Barnes 70 grain billets for a good southern whitetail/ coyote rifle:  pretty much figured an adj gas block is a must.

With the 77 grain tmk my COL is 2.220.  That is about 5 thousands off the lands.  Basically I've just always had accuracy from any caliber when I used RL15 or varget.  Of course this was when a bullet was used that did well with the barrel.  Since the 77tmk showed the best results I was searching for load data using these powders. I don't have anot adjustable gas block at this time but plan on adding a seeking when they come in stock.

See the sticky at the top of this variants forum? Visit the company site that shall not be mentioned. Load data is there for their version of what you are asking. Pressure numbers are there also.

Yes I'm aware tried them loads with poor results except for the 77tmk.
I'm just curious how many grains of varget I should start with to load the 77.

Maybe try John Burns on here for info. He is running a Grendel based 22.

Originally you said variety. Guess you were looking for specific data.

This is all the data from the stickied thread at X.Xforums.
PLEASE NOTE: If you see data with pressures, that is from X from a pre-production barrel he was using. He has said, that barrel can handle hotter loads than the 20" production barrels, so BE ADVISED, reduce loads and work up carefully!
If you see data that says '20" bbl.' or '20" barrel" that is from the production barrels. Some of that info is from X, while some is from others.
Lastly, watch closely the OAL measurements indicated. There are obviously extra-long-loaded rounds which can only be single-fed (won't fit in magazine). Also, some of these loads may have been in the differently-throated pre-production barrels. Be advised: know the relationship between your bullet's ogive and the leade/throat.
Any loads 58-60k should be considered max.
ALWAYS drop 1-2 gr and work up loads while looking for accuracy. Turn necks apx 80% for best results.
