Spend the extra few bucks and go stainless.  I have a CMMG stainless kit, runs like a top.  Last time I went shooting I put over 800rds through it without cleaning or extra lube and have only two stovepipes.

I have used a few and never had any issues with the ones I have used (spikes, cmmg, etc)

I have an extra one for sale if you want it

Have you guys had any issues using a notched hammer vs a rounded one?

I had a notched trigger in one lower, and it wouldn't reset. Pulled that out right quick.

I am running a stag lower parts kit (notched hammer) in a DPMS lower, zero problems.

+1 on the Stags LPK working fine.

I've got a stainless CMMG as well and only have 1 FTF and 1 FTE after 450 rds.

Anyone successfully running a Daniel Defense LPK (with notched hammer) and a .22 conversion kit?

spikes.  no issues.  don't use lead tipped ammo as it is more prone to feeding problems.

Is the new CMMG SS Evo conversion supposed to be any better with notched hammers than the current design? I don't own a conversion yet but just got a nice trigger job on my lower with notched.
