| I bought a Tactical Sol. dedicated 22Lr upper for my AR today. Well I get home Clean it and put it on my lower to test it out. First 3 shots it will eject the spent round and chamber another round but will not recock the hammer. After that it would not feed another round into the chamber without working the charging handle several times. I've only put 6 or 7 rounds through it and am very disgusted. Do I need to work with it and let it break in or take it and get my money back and wait for a Spikes? |

All the 22lr uppers are finicky about the ammo they function well with. Try some CCI minimags or the Federal bulk packs and it should run fine. Then try different ammunition until you find the ammo that it runs well with and shoots accurately. I have a TacSol that it runs flawless with the Fed Bulk packs and it is also fairly accurate. It is extremely accurate (Not Anschutz accurate) and runs well with the Wolf Match Target ammo. It is also very accurate with the PMC Moderators (Subsonic) but hiccups from time to time. |
Try some federal bulk pack before you give up on it. |
