If you have a 25 meter zero, at what distance does the bullet cross line of sight again? Thanks, headbang.gif |

M193 Ball from M16 20" bbl: 375 meters. And it's over 6" high at 100 meters. From a 14.5" M4 bbl M193 has a downrange cross over at 325 meters and is dropping like a stone. Just at 6" high at 100 meters (and about 8" at 200m). This high trajectory is the major reason behind Improved Battlesight Zero (IBSZ) which keeps the bullet within 2" of line of sight out to 220 meters. -- Chuck |

I've set my iron sights, Aimpoints and even my 10X scope to the IBSZ. It works out to be about a 225 yd. zero for me with M193 and a perfect 200 yd. zero with the scope and Federal 69 gr. Match. Like Chuck says the trajectory is nice and flat all the way out to 220 meters, so most everything is a "point blank" shot or hold 4" - 5" high at 300 yds. |
