I'm wanting a scope that will be fast enough up close (50 yds or so) to be able to hit moving hogs, yet has the ability to reach out a little bit further than my current 1-4x.

Looking at Nikon M223 2-8x, Vortex Diamondback 2-7x35, Leupold VX II 2-7x33, and Redfield Revolution 2-7x33. Which of these would be my best bet? Would I be better off with something else? Any help would really be appreciated guys.

I like the burris fulfied 2-7. It's 150 bucks and has great glass. Out of your choices i would go with the nikon m223 2-8. That will be my next scope for hog and coyote hunting.

Ah yes forgot to include the burris FF II.

I have the m223 1-4x that I'm about to sell, so I know the 2-8 should have the same great glass. Don't know a whole lot about the others though.
