Just finished my 300AAC 16" carbine. Shoots fine, ejects fine and loads the next round; however, it does not cock the weapon to fire. I have to manually rack the charging handle. I suspect a buffer problem but am not sure. Any suggestions ?

Parts?  Trigger?  Buffer weight?  Ammo used?  Suppressor?  Give us something to work with.

You mean the hammer follows the BCG down instead of staying to the rear after you fire and the action cycles?

Your either missing your disconnector entirely or it is installed incorrectly or there is something out of spec between the hammer/disco interface surfaces.

Could be a gas/short stroking issue..........have seen it before, not enough gas to get the hammer back far enough to catch.........but far enough to eject.........Check gas block alignment in relation to gas hole drilled in the barrel.....If you have another BCG give it a try, what type of ammo are you using and if you are not using more than one type..........try some different loads................

I usually test fire new builds with factory fresh ammunition until I get everything up and running..........then move on to my reloads..............usually 20 rounds will let me know gas block is aligned properly and BCG is not giving me any issues..............

As previously mentioned........check fire control group for proper assembly

He says it fires, ejects, and feeds the next round.  The hammer might not catch on the disco before the spent cartridge ejects (it should, but it might be close), however if the BCG is cycling enough to strip another round into the chamber, the bolt has cycled plenty to set the hammer on the disco.

Thanks for all the suggestions Guys! I found my problem....the new hammer was hanging in the new disconnector (unpolished edge). Replaced the hammer and all works like a charm!
