I'm doing a 300 BLK build, and need help with finding an upper. I've been eying PWS uppers, but the problem I have is to save money I don't want the manufactures stock rail system with it as I'll probably be adding something from Troy Ind.

There are tons of the AAC MPW 300BLK uppers on gun broker in all three barrel lengths (9" 12.5" 16").
You can use any standard AR-15 .223/5.56 upper receiver and mate it with any 300BLK barrel out there. Use a pistol length gas tube for anything 12.5" and shorter and a carbine length gas tube for the 16" barrel. Best of luck with your build, it's a great round for self defense and hunting. |

But this doesn't work for a piston system, hence why I'm posting on the piston sub-section. |
