Just ordered this yesterday
http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-16-chf-300-aac-1-8-pistol-gas-sqr-13-5-without-bcg-or-charging-handle.html while doing some research last night, I read several posts on other forums that supersonic loads should not be used in a 16" pistol gas system. I also read several conflicting reports. Anybody have any experience with this? Is this information correct? If so, I may try to cancel the order because I only plan on shooting supersonic loads. |

Aac, Noveske, and Wilson combat were all using pistol on 16" guns. AAC uses carbine gas on 16" guns. I recently saw an ad for a Noveske 16" 300 BLK upper that listed the barrel as having a carbine gas, which surprised me. I thought all their 300 BLK barrels were pistol gas. Maybe it was a typo, or maybe they're trying something new. |

I got my PSA 10.5" .300 AAC upper yesterday and finished my pistol build last night. It fired/fed BOTH 220 gr Remington subsonic and 150 gr supersonic loads just fine two hours ago. |
