I am new to the forum as a member, but like most, I have browesed around from time to time. Usually when I search for a black gun related topic, inevitably one of the hits leads me to this site. There is obviously there is an enormous amount of experience and knowledge in the members here, and I am hoping that I can get some help with my first build. Below I will try to describe the direction I am trying to go, and after that i will stand back and listen while you boys drop some knowledge on me. Let me say too that the closest thing I have found to an off the shelf gun that would fit most of my criteria is the DPMS LR 308 B.

With that, I would like to build something pretty close to that with some of the following components. I appreciate any help you can lend. Gun Purpose- Hunting, General long range shooting.
