Pictured here is the DPMS low pattern handguard on a Smith & Wesson M&P10. This 12" handguard weighs in at 12.4 oz with the barrel nut. The 15" is 13.3oz. Each handguard comes with one five slot rail section. Like everything MI it is made in the USA and is backed by our lifetime warranty.
These will be shipping in two weeks.

This! And in FDE! The combination would pressure me to swap out my 12" SS Gen 2 (which is freaking perfect BTW).

Couldn't decide between SS Gen 2 or a Troy rail. This rail just made my mind up. Looks good.

Is that your new 3 port .308 brake on there?  Two items I am having trouble living without are just around the corner!

On the 15", what is the weight difference between the key mod and the SS?

Oh sweet mercy!  Very nice!

You guys are really movin' and shakin' with these new products.  I was all set on your 15" SS model. Hmm.  I'll have to rethink this.

What I liked about the SS is that it came with a bipod stud.  Will a native bipod stud be released at some point for this model?  Or are we stuck with using a keymod rail section with a picatinny rail / sling stud adapter in able to mount a Harris?

Or does someone already offer a keymod sling stud attachment?

Noveske and IWC both sell a small sling stud for the Troy rails that fits inside the hole.  It also fits perfectly into a keymod hole, so for a few bucks you get a sling mount attached directly to the rail and the Harris bipod will bear directly against the rail, not an adapter.

Other than using a rail adapter, there is no way yet to mount the Atlas bipod.  I might be able to post a pic if you have questions still.

Duuuuuddde.

I know exactly of  the sling stud you speak of, for I have one.  Actually, I bought it (prematurely) thinking I was going originally with a Troy 308 TRX rail, but have since opted for MI.  Very cool.  And your input regarding the bipod having a better "purchase" against the bare rail vs an intermediate adapter is spot on.

Thank you!  Alright, I am ALL IN!  I want this new MI rail!
