Who makes the best 308 kits? What makes them different from the standard LPK.

I've tried a search but have been unsuccessful. I just bought a POF 308 stripped lower and want to add top quality parts.

Im pretty sure almost every part of an AR15 LPK can be used with a .308 lower. So pick whichever you like.

You may want to call POF though and ask them what they suggest. I doubt they will suggest a crap part for their expensive lowers.

Negative on that. 308 LPK take down pins are longer and bolt stop is different.

Whoa up cowboy. The POF 308 lower comes with ALL the proprietary parts. A standard AR15 kit will fill the bill for the rest of the parts.

Now, getting the POF pins to fit the DPMS/etc. uppers is another thread.
