I have the DPMS Sport 308 I bought on closeout at Walmart. I want to change the stock and figure while I am at it to change the buffer tube to mil-spec.
The commercial tube the came installed is about 1/2" longer than an AR15 mil-spec tube and it has 7 adjustment holes compared to the AR15's 6. Will the mil-spec AR15 tube work or do i need a longer AR308 tube? Thanks very much. |
| You can use an AR-15 buffer tube/stock if you replace the buffer and spring. You can find ads in the EE from member Slash. He sells what you would need. Here is a link to his site. |
