Does anyone have data on any of the following (all zeroed at 100 yds, though I still have to measure the heights of my scopes): Port FNM 147 gr FMJ bullet, 20" barrel, muzzle velocity and bullet drop from 100-600 yds in 50 yd increments. Port FNM 147 gr FMJ bullet, 24" barrel, MV and BD. Port BF 147 gr FMJ bullet, 20" barrel, MV/BD. Port BF 147 gr FMJ bullet, 24" barrel, MV/BD. SA R1M1 147 gr FMJ bullet, 20" barrel, MV/BD. SA R1M1 147 gr FMJ bullet, 24" barrel, MV/BD. Fed GM 168 gr SMK bullet, 20" barrel, MV/BD. I've already got the data on the 168 SMK down a 24" barrel from Federal's website, but they don't give the bullet's BC, nor do I have any idea what the BC's or MV's are for the surplus bullets. Hell, if I could just get the BC's and MV's I could do the rest myself with the tools available on the web. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
That I know, but since I don't have a chrony I'm just looking for some baseline numbers that I can use to start with. Again, thanks for any help. |

Thanks for the numbers monktx. I'll play with them and then see how close they come to how my rifle's are actually shooting. Eventually I'll have to break down and buy a chrony, and I just ordered Ammo & Ballistics II by Bob Forker. That should help a bit. BTW, the rifles I'm using are a 24" SA M1A and a 20" Savage 10FP.
