A buddy of mine ordered a complete Beowulf gun back in mid-July 2008. Alexander Arms told him it would be 12-18 weeks. He was fine with this and he paid up front in full for the gun. Again, he's all paid up, even before they shipped. That was his choice and by no means required by the manufacturer. He's called diligently and everytime he calls he is informed that they are still behind because of one thing or another and it'll be just a few more weeks until it ships. This has been going on since December.
I've never dealt with AA before, but I have experience with many of the other manufacturers, so he came to me with questions. I told him I didn't know but would ask on here. So, is a 32 week wait about right for Alexander Arms? Not trying to flame the manufacturer, just looking for some guidance as to what to expect. Would you be getting upset yet or what? 8 months? Suggestions? |

Seems like there are long deliveries everywhere these days.
Any dealings I have had with Alexander Arms have always been straight up. Bill Alexander is the guy to talk to there if you are having problems. I suspect they are suffering from delays from one or more of their component manufacturers. A "wulf" is worth the wait ! Beowulf Video from "Future Weapons" Also your friend my want to start trying to source ammo for it now |

I would love to call shenanigans on his ass, but he gave them special authorization to credit his bank account before the rifle shipped. He knew that this obviously wasn't the best idea relating to the time value of money, but he knew if he had it he would spend it. So, they were able to credit his bank account before shipping because they had the proper authorization.
Any suggestions here? He's done the whole contact thing via phone and it doesn't seem to be working. I do understand things are busy, but c'mon this was ordered long before November and we're in March now. |
