She has changed so much along the way, and I'm getting ready to install the MI Mid-length FF rail.  Barrel and BCG have about 3500 rounds through it and I would still trust it with my family's life.  With my Nikon I can take out clay pigeons at 300 yards every time, that is excellent for me.  I'm proud of it.....

14.5" ER Shaw M4 barrel w/ phantom pinned
YHM rifle length FF rail
POF hooded front BUIS
KAC vfg
Larue QD rear BUIS
PRI Big Latch
Gen II KNS trigger pins
Full OD Magpul MIAD w.trigger gaurd
5 position Vltor EMOD
RRA BCG
KAC 2 stage trigger
Duracoated Magpul OD my a local smith

While I'm not a fan of railed handguards, that one looks pretty darned good.

I personally like dissy builds.  The longer the rail and shorter the barrel the more I approve! =)

I hear ya, I prefer the rail system but I don't have a bunch of rifles so the past three years have all pretty much been trial and error on this one.  When I change the rail system to the MI Mid Length I think I will be ready to work on another one and leave this one alone.

Well I'm not too fond of the green jam nut but if you plan to sell the YHM LW rail after the swap let me know. =)

When taking out said pigeons are you on a rest or using just arms and legs to support it?

Try it with irons and see how you do.  Much more fun.

Will do, that is the plan.

Previously I was using a Nikon that was way to strong and a bipod.  I learned a little and got some good practice with trigger control, now we will put it to the test.

Your rear sight is on backwards.  Otherwise it looks good.

I'm so embarrassed.  I can't lie, I have been shouldering the weapon for two days and I never even noticed.

The KAC trigger is very nice, it is very a good buy for the money.

Here is my finished for now build after I switched out the rail finally, the second one still needs to be properly assembled, the gas block arrived today!
