I saw one of the 3x20 Colt carry-handle scopes at the local gun show today.  It was in very good shape; finish was perfect, optics were bright, and turret covers were complete.  It still had the original lens covers.  It was marked $200 but I think I could have gotten it for $180.  Should I go back and get it at that price?

They tend to go for over $300 depending on shape. If it is real, all there and in working order, that would be a good price in my book.

You aren't going to find many at that price. I doubt it's still there - if it is, offer him $175 see if he bites.

Yes, offer less but be prepared to strike anyway.

I would be a buyer at anything $200 or less, go back and get it if condition still appears good and everything appears present and functional upon close inspection.  If the lens covers are still with it, even more to the good.

If it's a genuine Colt, it's a steal at $200 if it's in the condition you describe.  Just make sure it has the bottom latch!

I agree $200 is pretty much at the very bottom of what you should expect to pay in the described condition for a Colt/Hakko 3x20 scope. I wouldn't walk away from the Colt scope over $20.
