How are your PPS-43 Mags working? Did you have to Mod them to work with the
.45 ACPs? What mag block do you use? Sorry for so many questons but I'm really interested in putting together a .45 ACP AR type carbine. Thanks. Quoted:
I'll be watching your reports on this one. I have a RMW Upper that I've run with PPS-43 Mags and Love it. It'll be interesting to see how your setup runs. I'm always interested when a new purchase of a 45 acp comes up. Good Luck with it, Dave |

entropy762: PPS Mags have to be modified to work. Feed lips have to be re-angled,
a flat follower and the mag latch area has to be modded too. The Mag Block is made by Ronald M. Williams who makes the upper. It will also use modified AR Mags without a block. My upper is a 10-1/2" with a 5-1/2" muzzle device permanently attached. It is gas operated and uses a RMW Modified AR bolt... It's as accurate as you could ever want... Hope this helps, Spec |

Below is a pic of mine: http://www.c3junkie.com/m16/MGI/GG/TRX-Suppressor.jpg I've got it running great now. RMW gas operated. VERY smooth. Way smoother than a blowback 9mm M16. Using unmodified GG mags w/ the MGI magwell and using a RDIAS for the happy switch. Glad to hear hear it I am working on a mag for the 45 so it can be used in a standard AR15 lower. The oly mag just dosent do it for me. Looking at a midwell setup like the colt style system. Hey Dave, how are you doing these days? We still need to get together & do some shooting |

Ron, the center feed should be great for all loads. I've got a few mags made up
that I need to try. If I'd quit needing surgeries and falling down Yes, we need a range trip together if we can get rid of the current "Ice Age" here in Florida.... Dave |
