Is there a such thing as a 4-position selector (safe, semi, burst, and auto)?

Not being a dick but with the current political climate I must ask,  Do you have a transferable?  If not do not ruin it for those of who do!  You can have full aoto parts as long as it doesn't fire more than once for each pull of the trigger.  Still you don't need a fullauto selector if you don;t have one!  If you do have one forgive me for beind stern you probably feel the same way the rest of us FA owners feel!

Relax man, he just asked if they existed and who sold them.

He didn't ask how to modify the lower to accept one and how to put it in.

I have used every kind of selector available for the AR15/M16. The only one I have the least bit of interest in is Safe-Semi-Auto. The four pos is difficult to engage quickly, and BURST is a waste.

Id have to check my handouts from the Colt Armorer's course, but its not just a selector, its a whole new set of internals.

I have auto engraved on my Custom AR-15 Lower .... what would be the big deal about installing a 3 or 4 position selector as a novelty?

The kit comes with a little metal plate that sits on the outside of the reciever to allow the selector to bypass the stops, and it will cover up your custom markings

And yes, the kit is not just a selector, its all new stuff.

I am not comfotable with qouting how many auto parts you may put into your rifle before it becomes intent to manufacture.

I have a Colt four pos kit in a bag in the safe. The selector is a nub type not the more common paddle type. It was on some export models Colt sold awhile back.

I got mine from Dennis Todd in 1998. It requires the selector stops to be milled down. I think it went Safe-Semi-Auto-Burst and the burst had a reset feature but I cannot be sure as I never got round to installing it.
