| So does anyone have the dimensions of the back of the 601 upper? I mean there are facets on the back where the charging handle goes into the upper where the newer versions are just radiused slightly. I have a 601 repro sight wheel on order and thought I would do the other mods while I have it apart. Can anyone share this info with me? |

Close as I can measure, the middle flat is 0.26" and the ones on the sides are 0.23" ETA: There is a great deal of variance here...I've seen a couple of original 601 uppers where you could tell the side cuts were different lengths on each side just by looking at them. |
His name & e-mail sounds familiar, I've bought from him before, just cannot remember what.
Pretty much what mine come up to, about 1/4" per angle, but that's just using a tape measurer. |
