Should I use the rear sight windage drum with the "flat" topped 3, or the one with the "round" top 3?
I know, "Sounds pretty anal to me, Bill."
Flame on...

Also, does the 602 upper have the little hole drilled for the ejection port cover spring like the 601 or not?

Sounds pretty anal to me, Bill.  I don't know about the sight dial, but I don't think it had the hole.  That hasn't stopped me from putting holes in some of my uppers, though, since I think they're cool.

I've been trying to figure out how to get the sight markings engraved for a 602 replica.  I asked Orion Arms, but they said their tooling was too wide.  I guess a CNC mill might work...

I was thinking about having a stamp made with the R and arrow. I would have to make some sort of jig to fit into the channel of the carry handle to support it while stamping, but that shouldn't be a problem.

602, bro's, direction "R arrow" are stamped into the upper reciever. Drum has numbers on it. Which one do I use, flat top 3 or round top 3 ???
I have one of each.

Pertaining to the upper, how about your local trophy shop?
I've been meaning to go try my local trophy shop but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Imagine that!

I will have to check on the three. They do have the hole for the spring though.

Here's a pic of a 602 upper, think it was all original, don't see a hole for the spring, you can see it "lying" on the receiver but traded it off so can't check any further for you, hope it's of some use.

Thanks, guys, I'm modding a Fulton slickside upper. After nine (9) mods I thought it was ready to be sent to Vic, then I got the nutty idea to do a 602 instead.
So, to get down to the nut cuttin' a 602 upper is the same as a 601 with the addition of the direction markings?
