I have yet to complete my 601 project, (waiting on that NDS 601 lower) but I decided to go ahead with the 607. I've already ordered the NDS lower for this job also. here is the game plan: I decided to go with a Bushmaster Super light Barrel without a bayonet  lug and have Randal (from AR-15 Barrels. Com) cut in down as far as he can and permanently attach the 4.5in Flash Suppressor (from 45 Bravo) to make it legal, I'm not going to SBR this one. I'm also going with a Bushmaster Stubby Stock until I can get my hands on a true 607 stock or good reproduction. What do you guys think?

Instead of modifying a A1 stock to go to a 607. What a modifying the RRA or Bushy entry stock? Anyone look into that?

You may have to rethink who is going to do your barrel work

WOW, He did an awesome job for me on a couple of barrels last year. I'm going to email him first before I go down this road.
