| I have found one source that said some early 607 were built on 601 slick side lowers any one else ran across that? I have a spare 601 lower I would SBR and use on my 607 build rather than waiting to get another XM16E1 lower. |

Also if you haven't noticed after sustained fire the extra air gap is very welcome. |
