Just curious but why is the Colt 6920 seem to be more popular than other Colt models? Is it only because it's the closest a to a M4 or are there other reasons? If you could only own one Colt other than the 6920 what would it be?
-Please don't start any brand wars as I am ONLY curious as it relates to the different Colt models. Thanks! |

I can only tell you my reasons for going with the 6920. 16" barrel, I think is just the right size. 1 in 7 barrel twist improves accuracy. 5.56 (NATO) chamber which also allows use of 223 remington ammo. while the 223 does not allow use of the 5.56. A3 upper. +1 and, to add......IT'S a COLT! |

I like all the Colts, although the 6520 would be my next choice for it's simplicity and light weight. Plus 6520 also has "AR-15 A2 Gov't Carbine" rollmarks and also a 1/7 twist chrome bore barrel with M4 feedramps. I think I'll be using the 6721 I have coming in for predator / coyote type hunting, even though I don't hunt much I wanted to get every Colt LE model before the politicians trample our rights. http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr347/Warhorses_86-90/Colt%206520/Colt_6520-10_2.jpg http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr347/Warhorses_86-90/Colt%206520/Colt_6520-7_2.jpg I want one |
