Yes, it and the .22 PPC have been used in "spaceguns" because of the ability to load heavy for caliber bullets to magazine length.  The cartridge is a winner, and the barrels for it are usually excellent.

How does that compare to the 6mmBR? I've been looking into an upper in this caliber. Necked down Lapua 6.5 grendel.
