I am looking to build a 6.5 Grendel and I am needing to know a few things before embarking on this project and I am hoping that many of you that have been down this road can give some advice.

The first question I have is, dose the Grendel need a "Special" gas tube and gas block or does a standard gas tube and block work? What else do I need to take into consideration?

The Second Question is does a 6.5 bolt fit into a standard bolt carrier?

Thanks

No special gas tube is needed, gas blocks for the most part should all work fine.

No special carrier is needed either.  The only parts that you actually need to just get going are the barrel, bolt, and mags.

I'm not trying to pull anyone away from this site, both are very helpful.
