I have ammo for my recently purchased grendel on backorder but i wont be recieving it till early december after huntin season begins. So i have realized the only way to have quality ammo for reasonable prices is to handload. I say all this because i know many people on this site know far more than me and i would like suggestions on everything in a catrigde (casing, gunpowder, primers, and projectile) for 6.5 specialized for whitetail hunting at 400 yards max.
My grendel is a 24" barrel with 1:9 twist. I will be hunting with this like i said earlier so i want to maximum the velocity and accuracy and i dont mind it runnin a little hot since i will rarely be rapid firing. Hopefully alot of 1 shot 1 kills.
