I'm hooked! Gotta have a better platform for deer. Want to get a 6.8 to go along with the 5.56. Looking for parts kits; upper halves, lowers, etc. Want a 20" flattop with std. A2 furniture in 6.8 SPC II. Don't want to break the bank. I figure a standard rifle and then I can improve little by little and teach the boy some things along the way. All your expert advise is much appreciated. I don't know who is good out there and who is not. What to avoid, etc. Newby needing help, again. thanks!

I am also looking for a 6.8 upper as well. I have done some research and concluded that AR Performance seems to be a winner. Check them out for yourself.
