I'm looking at getting a LMT MRP setup and have a question about switching from 5.56 to 6.8.  When switching the MRP from 5.56 to 6.8, I know that a 6.8 bolt is required, but do I also need a special 6.8 bolt carrier as well...or is it just the bolt that I need to change?  Also, would I have any issues with the buffer setup when switching to the 6.8?

Thanks for the help!

Not especially familiar w/MRP's. I do know the barrel setup is different than a standard AR.  However barrel, bolt and mags are all that are required for a 6.8 conversion. All else is the same unless the MRP uses a different carrier than an AR.

Yeah the carrier is the main thing I was wondering about....Also if a heavier buffer would be needed I guess.
