My 6.8 shoots Silver State Armory 110 grain Accu-bonds flawlessly, however when I reload the same bullet, same overall length, I cannot get the gun to run more than a round or two without a stoppage. I have been all over with the H335 powder charge, from min to max, same results. Should be noted that the reloads are very accurate.
Any advise would be appreciated. |

what do you mean by stoppage? not feeding? short stroking?
What is you max H335 load? I have run it all the way to 34gr with the correct spec barrel so I am just guessing here if you are following the load data in a book then the loads are still light if you are having short stroke issues.. |

It would shoot and eject ok, it would just not pick up a new round, the bolt would close on an empty chamber. I loaded H335 up to 29.5 grains, but then I started getting pressure signs. |

You probably should switch to RL10X (IMHO)... |

I've been using 28.0 gr with a Sierra Pro Hunter 110 bullet. Shoots just a fuzz over moa groups at 100 yds.
I think it will shoot better when I'm not shivering. I haven't chronoraphed it yet, Ill do that when the weather gets better. edit: I should note that I'm using Remington brass Winchester WLR primers and C.O.A.L. of 2.260 inches. Steve |
