I am looking to build a 6.8 carbine...
What is a good economical lower that is decent but either marked 6.8 or not caliber marked?

I am gonna get my upper from JTdistributing...

just want a decent lower

Im pretty sure DPMS makes lowers marked for the 6.8. but they cost more than the standard 5.56 which will work just as well

Complete lower with 2 stage RRA trigger - $375.   I bought 3 and am very pleased.

YHM just came out with a lower that is multi marked. I bought one for a 6.8 build and it looks great.

You can buy a lower that is marked 6.8, Stag sells one as well as a few other, but it's only a cosmetic difference (and an extra $20. or so.)

It only matters to you if you want the lower to have the caliber stamped on it for the caliber upper you have it attached to at the moment.  "MULTI" might be a good choice since a lower can be swapped out with a lot of upper receivers, but I just buy what I can buy and know that it will work. Stag is readily available to be through the FFL near me.
