Hi everyone, first post! Is there someone online who sells 14.5" M4 type uppers in 6.8 with a permanent Sabre Defense extended A2, like the 6.5 Grendel upper offered by AA? Thanks |

Maybe CMMG? Noveske does. If you plan to only use factory ammo and don't go to the hotter reloads or SSA Combat line it will work fine and is one of the most accurate barrels as he chambers and profiles them from Pac-Nor blanks. It can't shoot the hotter loads because it uses the 10 twist with the SAAMI chamber. It would need to have either the 11 twist or SPCII or both both to use the hotter loads. I am more for the slower twist then the SPCII chamber. But if you wanted to use one of Johns barrels and really still wanted to shoot the hot one you could use a throat reamer to gain the extra 0.050 of throat. That is the only difference between the SPCII and the SAAMI. You really want to stay with 11 twist barrels or you can do 10 twists that use the SPCII chamber. I personally like the 11:1 with either the SPCII or SAAMI chamber. Most all others use 16" barrel or go down to true SBR lengths. ie 12.5 and below. Sorry I can't be more help.
