Its purple
| Yes the lower is purple. Well in this light it looks purple but it is defenitely different from the rest of the rifle which was on purpose. I love the two tone look but I totally get it if it's not for everyone. JD is a new company and I got it at a gun show. The fit and finish is really really good. Bison armory is a newer company that specializes in 6.8spc barrels only and has a great record so far. Timber wolf, yeah never heard of them either until I got the parts kit. Got it at dealer cost but compared to dpms kit the quality is better. |

Thanks to your thread here, I e-mailed Bison with a question, and they responded 5 minutes later stating that they could indeed make a 6.8 barrel that would work with my Stag ARms lefty upper provided I supply the lefty bolt and ambi barrel extension. Hmmm... |
