Can you use the same lower for a 7.62 build? Learning as I go fellas, bear with me.

A 7.62 x 39 will work with a 5.56 lower. Different magazine though.

Let me encourage you to do a 762x39 build.
I have 2 uppers
Here's a little showing....

I like. Looks nice. Thinking about 7.62 due to cheaper more accessible ammo, and slightly larger caliber.
It seems my son finally wants to get into shooting. Another reason I should have gotten an AR sooner.
