Anybody use the 45 degree MLOK/KM slots on their handguards? I've been looking at getting a 7 sided handguard like a BCM or SLR but I'm wondering if I actually need the 45 degree slots. Any use to them that couldn't be filled by using an offset rail? I'd appreciate pictures and personal stories if you've got them.

The rail is round, not 7 sided, but has slots at 45. It is the now discontinued Daniel Defense MFR, but other newer rails offer the feature. I find 45 degree slots to be very useful.
